The 16th annual San Luis Obispo Greek Festival will be held on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 at the Madonna Expo Center.

Come share amazing Greek food, lively dancing and rousing music! This family-friendly event is a fundraiser for St. Andrew the Apostle Greek Orthodox Church, which supports many charitable groups in San Luis Obispo County. Some of these charitable groups include the SLO Noor Foundation and SLO Food Bank.
Highlights of the 2-day festival include:

The festival menu will feature an array of authentic and mouthwatering traditional Greek dishes. The classic Greek sandwich, the Gyro, sizzling straight off the grill, will be served, as well as the succulent BBQed Souvlaki (shish kebab). And everyone’s favorite, Greek feta fries. No one can eat just one! Visitors will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth with delectable Greek pastries like honey-soaked baklava, karidopita (walnut cake), melomakarona (honey dipped spice cookie), kurabiedes (powdered sugar coated shortbread cookie), to name a few. Wine, beer, Specialty Greek cocktails, like Aphrodite’s Aphrodisiac and Bacchus’ Bodacious Blend and more; soft drinks and water will also be available for purchase.
Dancing is a vital element in the Greek culture and during the festival, guests will witness a variety of traditional Greek dances performed by youth and adult groups. And the OCF “Oi Foitites” are a high energy competitive dance group that will thrill the crowd. Throughout the weekend, the dancers will be teaching the basics of Greek dancing to anyone who wants to learn. So, wear your dancing shoes and join our dance groups and learn the Syrto and other traditional dances!
Be sure to save time for shopping! The festival features a distinctive marketplace, known as an “Agora” in ancient Greece, where our vendors offer many one-of-a-kind items for sale.
