Athletic apparel giant, Lululemon, is setting up shop once again in downtown San Luis Obispo. Insiders report that due to the success of last year’s short-term “pop-up shop”-which was open between April and September of 2014-the retailer has chosen to pursue a showroom concept for an undetermined length of time. The showroom will open on April 3, and is located across the street from the Jack House, in the historic Kaetzel Garden House at 547 Marsh St. Previous tenants of the Kaetzel Garden House include the Land Conservancy of SLO County and the Johnson Gallery. Features of the showroom will include a range of complimentary services that are open to the community, including in-house yoga classes and a hiking club. In keeping with the Kaetzel House’s previous use as a gallery, the showroom will feature one local artist each month, and participate in Art After Dark. The carriage house on the back of the property will be home to a massage therapy studio, the tenant of which is yet to be determined.
