Railroad Museum_155Join us at the San Luis Obispo Railroad Museum on Saturday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. to hear Jim Gregory, local history and literature teacher (a Lucia Mar Teacher of the Year), as he discusses life in World War II Arroyo Grande. See images of the era and hear some of the music that made everyone sing in spite of their hardships. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and a signing of Jim’s new book on the topic, just published by History Press.

While you’re at the Railroad Museum, check out the new Pacific Coast Railway exhibit and see the large model railroads under construction. Also, don’t miss the 1926 Lounge Car on the tracks next to the platform.

The talk is included with admission to the Railroad Museum. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children and free to children three years and under.
