The Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market will celebrate the holiday season on Thursday, December 14th, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:30 PM with a booth decorating contest on Higuera Street. This event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.
Vendors will decorate their booth for the Holiday Booth Decorating Contest in the spirit of this year’s theme, Holiday Hoedown. The 1st place winner will receive two free markets; 2nd and 3rd place will each receive one free market. The booths will be judged on artistic design, creativity, best in theme, and overall impression and are judged by Downtown SLO Committee and Board members. Judges will submit scores by 8:00 PM, and winners will be announced at 8:15 PM. This will be a festive atmosphere that is enjoyable for children.
Additionally, Marston’s Bar & Grill will be running a food drive. Please contribute to those in need this season and donate a canned and/or non-perishable food item throughout the day to Marston’s, located at 673 Higuera Street.
