Cuesta College presents: a free Veterans Resource Fair

Local veterans and their families are invited to come onto Cuesta College’s SLO Campus on April 7 to attend a free Veterans Resource Fair. The San Luis Obispo Veterans Services Collaborative is hosting the fair, which will bring representatives from various local agencies onto campus

The goal is to provide local veterans with information on services and resources in a fun atmosphere where the entire family feels comfortable. Veterans who attend can get help securing their potential benefits, attend resume-writing workshops, learn job interviewing skills and financial planning strategies, obtain information on their legal rights as veterans, more than 20 employers and offer direct contact to the Veterans Affairs healthcare system in order to address VA benefits, questions about healthcare, and best practices.
