ACI JetCalifornia-based private jet ground support, maintenance, management and charter provider, ACI Jet, announced today that Senior Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance, David Jensen, received the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Top 40 Under 40 Award. Jensen, a Creston resident, will be 39-years-old the time of award. Nominations were reviewed and award recipients selected by NBAA’s Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro) networking group, a group “dedicated to building relationships between emerging leaders across the business aviation industry.” The Top 40 Under 40 Award nominations number in the several hundreds and span eight categories, including Airport Business, Broker/Sales, Business Management, Cabin Attendant, Maintenance, Marketing, Pilot, and Scheduler/Dispatcher.

Avionics Partnerships.

Over the last 24 months, Jensen established numerous profitable partnerships for the Repair Station, including GE, Satcom Direct, Collins Aerospace, Honeywell and, most recently, Garmin dealerships and service centers. Through numerous installations of advanced satellite and ground-based communications equipment, including participation in three Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) as part of Honeywell’s service and dealer network, Jensen’s strategic direction has positioned ACI Jet and San Luis Obispo as a hub of aircraft connectivity and technology solutions.

Promoting Aviation Education and Careers.
To satisfy growing demands within the organization for qualified technicians, engineers and administrative labor, Dave Jensen has been central in the advancement of educational programs at local schools, both to garner those with an interest in careers in aviation maintenance and to provide the technical resources needed, right here in San Luis Obispo County, for those students to actually pursue that career.
