Pismo Coast Shopping Plaza is hosting a Community Holiday Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 7. The center is located at 555 Five Cities Drive in Pismo Beach, at 4th Street off the 101 Freeway.
Members of the community are invited to attend the free Holiday Celebration from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Dec. 7, which will include entertainment, complimentary refreshments and the opportunity to win $1,000’s in prizes from center merchants.
Families can take a free photo with Santa, and partake in food and drink tastings, both offered by California Fresh Market. Complimentary Starbucks coffee will also be offered. Guests can enjoy sidewalk massages made available by Achilles Chiropractic and Yang Sheng Foot Spa. Live music from the Arroyo Grande High School Choir, Dr. Brian Hanratty, Pacific Horizon Chorus of Sweet Adelines and San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra will be played throughout the day.
Other festivities include a Passport Game offering prizes worth more than $1,000. Guests should check in to receive their Passport Game Map, and then visit participating merchants to collect Passport “Stamps”. Players who collect 10 stamps will win a free tri-tip sandwich from California Fresh Market, and qualify to win $1,000+ in prizes.
A special drawing will be held for those that black out their map with stamps.
Guests that bring a canned food donation for SLO County Foodbank, or a new, unwrapped toy donation for Toys for Tots, will receive “Head-Start Stamps” on their Passport Game Map.
Many individual merchants are offering free drawings from within their stores, with prizes such as spa gift certificates, health club trial memberships and special discounts on services.
Those wanting to start their holiday shopping can benefit from special event pricing and gift-wrapping by the Blue Moon Betties, a local non-profit organization.
