About this week’s guests: Maggie Przybylski and Morgan Murphy have been making cider professionally in San Luis Obispo since 2017, focusing on cider made from local and heirloom fruit. In early 2020, they hired a contractor to remodel their warehouse into a tasting room, patio, and production area right before Covid-19 shut down the world. They made it through the worst of the pandemic by switching to direct to customer sales, running a successful Kickstarter campaign, and support from small business grants and community assistance programs. With just a few more DIY projects for the tasting room, they are looking to open to guests this summer. Maggie and Morgan are excited to finally be able to share cider directly with the public and provide an inclusive space for the community to gather, especially those that identify as LGBTQIA+.
