On Saturday October 8th, San Luis Obispo-based organization R.A.C.E. Matters SLO County presents the third annual Stories Matter – a live showcase featuring local and visiting storytellers who will take the stage with true, personal stories around the theme “And The Beat Goes On.”
A favorite of R.A.C.E. Matters’ Belonging event series, Stories Matter is produced in collaboration with The Reboot : Storytelling ReImagined and sponsored by the City of San Luis Obispo. Stories Matter will be held at Bang the Drum Brewery and tickets can be purchased at racemattersslo.org.
R.A.C.E. Matters SLO County is a San Luis Obispo-based 501(c)3 organization that creates artistic, cultural, educational, and social experiences that amplify Black voices and matters of racial justice.
