AmpSurf, is a non-profit organization improving the quality of life for disabled persons and veterans through adaptive surf programs, has its second local event of the season on July 7th in Pismo Beach.
This marks the 16th year that AmpSurf has been doing Learn-to-Surf Clinics here on the Central Coast. Since 2003 AmpSurf has been sharing the healing power of the ocean with people living with disabilities including kids, adults and those who have sacrificed serving our country, teaching them through adaptive surfing to focus on abilities, not disabilities.
The clinic runs from 7am -12noon, with surf instruction from 8:30-11:30. We have 15+ participants coming out on July 7th in Pismo, to participate, volunteer, support or get more information, about AmpSurf and the work the organization does around the country please visit AmpSurf at; www.ampsurf.org
