School will be back in session soon, and many local students and teachers are in need of the supplies necessary to begin the year successfully. Businesses, groups, and individuals are invited to help provide the tools students need to succeed by joining United Way of San Luis Obispo County and KSBY to ‘Stuff the Bus’. From August 9th-12th, the following locations in SLO County will accept donations of new school supplies:

Walmart-Arroyo Grande
Staples-San Luis Obispo
Kmart-Atascadero
Cookie Crock-Cambria
Walmart-Paso Robles

Volunteers will be on hand to accept and sort donations on Thursday and Friday from 4:00pm-7:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00pm–4:00pm.

Suggested donations of new school supplies include: pencils, pens, rulers, notebooks, loose leaf paper, backpacks, pencil boxes/bags, facial tissues, hand sanitizer, crayons, colored pencils, washable markers, washable paint, glue sticks, blunt tip scissors, pocket folders, tape, lunch boxes, manila folders, three ring binders, construction paper, poster board, dry erase board markers, chalk, copy paper, stickers, index cards, self-adhesive notepads, calculators, and art supplies.
