AmpSurf works to share the healing power of Adaptive Surf Therapy with all people living with disabilities. We are proud to see the launch of our new Surf Shuttle program for Veterans and active duty service members living in the Fresno, CA area starting April 16. AmpSurf announced the launch of its Surf Shuttle program back in January to give more veterans from outside the Pismo Beach area the opportunity to take part in the VetSurf Friday program, who might not otherwise be able to.

AmpSurf has been running its VetSurf program since 2010. The program encourages local veterans to meet at the beach every Friday morning in Pismo Beach, CA to engage with one other, bond and surf. Not all surf, some just participate for the comradery others though have moved from beginner surfer to advanced.

The Fresno Surf Shuttle will run every Friday, leaving from American legion post 509. 3509 N 1st St, Fresno, CA 93726 at 6am. Participants will be at the beach in Pismo from 8:30am to 11:00am, at the Addie St. beach access, and will arrive back in Fresno by 2pm.
