Every kid wants to be an explorer, meet a wild animal, cook with the sun, hike and climb, make friends and have fun. Kids can enjoy all of this by attending this year’s Summer Camp at the SLO Botanical Garden, July 18 through 21, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
This one-of-a-kind adventure for second through fifth grade children focuses on exciting hands-on outdoor activities, where campers learn about ecology and how we need and use plants every day—all while playing, exploring and investigating the natural world. Cost is $160 for Garden members and $185 for non-members for the four day camp. Light snacks provided. Extended-day drop off and pick are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Scholarships are available thanks to a generous grant from Central Coast Funds for Children.
