The SLO Downtown Association is excited to feature Box the Oxford on June 2nd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Fresh Picked Concert Series, located in the Union Bank parking lot at 955 Higuera St. The Fresh Picked Concert Series is part of Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market and is sponsored by The San Luis Obispo Collection, with support from Union Bank and Pacific Energy Company.
Comprised of four Cal Poly students, Box the Oxford is self-described as having a genre of “indie surf rock” from the California Central Coast. The group recently won Cal Poly’s Battle of the Bands, and are therefore opening for popular hip hop artist T-Pain at the school’s Spring Stampede. Featuring Andrew Krippner and Colton Stapper on guitar and vocals, Eric Osborn on Drums, and Davis Muxlow on bass, the band’s music can be found on Soundcloud.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to watch Box the Oxford’s live performance at the Fresh Picked Concert Series. The SLO Downtown Association looks forward to another season of free, local, full-production entertainment at its world famous Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market.
