cal poly artsTango Buenos Aires has become one of Argentina’s great cultural exports, known throughout the Americas, Europe and the Far East as the most authentic and uncompromising representative of the tango.

On Tuesday November 14, 2017, 7:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Cal Poly Arts will present Tango Buenos Aires’ “The Spirit of Argentina” – a sometimes playful, sometimes dramatic, and totally sensuous world music and dance showcase.

The acclaimed company of 25 dancers and musicians will perform a dynamic experiential journey into the culture and spirit of Argentina as part of their current successful international tour.

A free pre-show lecture will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC Pavilion; led by Cal Poly Dance Emeritus faculty member Moon Ja Minn Suhr.
