Linda likes to draw inspiring natural scenes—coastal panoramas, oak covered hillsides, flowers and wildlife. While she’s always enjoyed drawing and art, she learned to draw well while studying landscape architecture in college. Handprint Nopal Cactus
The nopal cactus, better known as the prickly pear cactus, is native to San Luis Obispo and can still be seen growing just across the street from the Museum. To make your very own, paint your hand green, make a print and add pokey spines. Don’t forget to add the beautiful pink fruits they grow!
