The Central Coast Aquarium, formerly the Avila Beach Sea Life Center, announces our updated annual fundraiser: Catch of the Central Coast. This event expands upon the Sea Fare program from previous years.

Catch of the Central Coast is a one-of-a-kind exclusive event. Guests will be served an elegant multi coursed sustainable seafood dinner complete with wine pairings and artisan finishes. This event takes place overlooking the beauty of Avila Bay at the Avila Beach Golf Resort. Guests will enjoy a night of incredible underwater sensory experiences. Tickets are limited and include a silent and live auction complete with entertainment and music and open bar.

Catch of the Central Coast is a benefit for the Central Coast Aquarium a San Luis Obispo County non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to cultivate a community of ocean stewardship through education, engagement and action. “The Central Coast Aquarium is an experience you will never outgrow,” says Joan Sargen, Donor. “The Central Coast is a beautiful place and we are so grateful to have access to our breathtaking coastline,” adds Executive Director Tara Malzone. “Unfortunately many of us have no idea what’s going on within the first 100 feet. We take visitors beyond the beach. Providing an opportunity to explore through our hands on exhibits.”

While you may know the CCA for its Avila Beach location and public aquarium, they primary operate as a marine science education center serving school children across six counties. The CCA is responsible for introducing thousands of kids every year to the ocean and the life within it.

Tickets are sold on the CCA’s website here. Admission for this one of a kind affair is $250. or Tables of 8 for $2000.
