On October 21 2015 from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. PathPoint will join other community members and the Department of Rehabilitation to host the inaugural Disability Employment Awards Breakfast to help inform employers of the huge resource of qualified employees awaiting them.
The event will include short speeches by employers and employees showcasing the successes of hiring people with disabilities. Speakers for the event will include San Luis Obispo Mayor Jan Marx, TekTegrity CEO Russ Levanway along with representatives from Scientific Drilling, Home Depot and the owners of Aspire Physical Therapy. Each of these companies has hired an employee with a disability.
A special thanks to County Supervisor Adam Hill for providing the San Luis Obispo Veterans Hall for the event. Please come and join us for fruit, pastries and coffee at the Veterans Hall, 801 Grand Ave. in San Luis Obispo.
