CIO Solutions, one of the Central Coast’s leading computer CIO Logo Transparent 380consulting and network management companies, has opened a new office in San Luis Obispo across the street from City Hall at 864 Osos Street.  Mayor Jan Howell Marx will perform the official welcoming ceremony, along with several members of the City Council and Chamber of Commerce on Monday afternoon, September 21. The community is invited to join in the celebration. The ribbon cutting event will run from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at CIO Solutions’ new office.

Headquartered in Santa Barbara and founded by CEO John Petote, CIO Solutions has been providing IT management and consulting services to Central Coast companies and organizations – large and small – since 1986.  Many of their clients are medium-sized businesses with 12 to 25 or more employees. Some of their larger clients include the cities of San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria, Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Paso Robles, the Santa Maria School District, and Cottage Health Systems.

CIO Solutions has twice been heralded by the Pacific Coast Business Times as “one of the fastest growing companies on the Central Coast”.  Their specific proficiencies include all inclusive network management and support (on or off site; traditional or virtual) for a fixed monthly fee; Private Cloud as well as “Hybrid” Cloud computing; other virtualization solutions; enterprise storage design; and unified communication solutions.

“From day one our goal has been to tailor our services for both small and large businesses and to provide IT options that did not exist before,” explains President Eric Egolf, who has been with the company since 2004. “As we have evolved, so has our ability to meet our clients right where they are in their growth curve, not just where we are. It’s become a win/win solution that works for everyone, one that frankly makes our jobs more interesting, challenging and fun. It’s also the thought process that played a role in our decision to open a San Luis Obispo office to better support the local and surrounding communities. One of our core values, along with integrity, relationship, and education is to ‘live where we work.’ Many of our employees call SLO County and North Santa Barbara County home. We wanted to support them in their desire to live closer to work and also provide faster response/resolution times to our clients who are in these areas.”

Today, CIO Solutions employs a total of 49 senior computer engineers and other staff with plans to grow further from here. They have more than 100 managed clients from Paso Robles to Los Angeles, as well as nationally and globally.  To learn more, visit www.ciosolutions.com or phone their new San Luis Obispo office at 805.618.3355. No RSVP is necessary to attend the ribbon cutting event.
