Comevo, a San Luis Obispo-based software company, recently donated a total of $8,000 in scholarship money to six students from both community colleges and four-year universities across the country.

The students were chosen from nearly 500 applicants based on several factors such as GPA, community service, financial need and the content of their personal essays.

“Comevo is honored to support students in their academic endeavors,” said Leslie Coe, President of Comevo. “With our client base predominantly in Higher Education, it is fitting that we support students across the country.”

This is the fifth year Comevo has awarded scholarships to students as part of their commitment to philanthropy. The four community college attendees each received $1,000 and the two four-year university attendees each received $2,000.
