Comevo, Inc., a San Luis Obispo-based software company and creator of Launch Online Orientation Software for community colleges, universities and vocational schools gave away four financial scholarships to students attending school in the Fall 2016 term. Two $1,000 scholarships to community college candidates and two $2,000 scholarships to University students were given away.

“With more than 550 applicants, this year’s scholarship program was a huge success. It’s nice to know we are able to have an impact on students throughout the country, not only with our software but with our philanthropy as well. We recognize how costly school is especially when you add books, supplies and lab fees on top of tuition.” – Leslie Coe, vice president of operations

The Comevo scholarship winners included, Christyn Horn, Cuesta College; Oumaima Afrad, Lone Star College; Margaret Sheehy, University of Portland; and Brian Duncan, University of Texas at Dallas.
