Crossfit Inferno in San Luis Obispo will host a community blood drive in honor of Hailey Hartman. Hailey was recently diagnosed with a serious medical condition called Amyloidosis and received a heart and kidney transplant in November 2018.  In honor of Hailey and her generous donor, CrossFit Inferno would like to give back through a blood drive.  Please join CrossFit Inferno SLO on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 4120 Horizon Lane, from 11-3 pm and donate.

“It is such an honor to be able to give back,” says Amanda Hartman, Hailey’s wife.  “Blood products saved Hailey’s life…more than once.  We appreciate the support so, so much!”  Amanda and Hailey live in Grover Beach with their one-year old son.

We have teamed up with a locally-owned company, Androgynous Fox, to create a special edition shirt in honor of Hailey’s journey.  Androgynous Fox is graciously donating the net proceeds from the shirt sales directly to Hailey’s care and recovery.  Be sure to wear your special edition shirt or a purple shirt to the blood drive to show support for Hailey’s journey.  Shirts can be purchased at:

“I have always had a drive to serve a greater purpose,” says Bill Grundler, owner of CrossFit Inferno and the area’s only Level 4 Certified CrossFit Coach.  “My career as a firefighter with CalFire had me serving the local community as a first responder and the sense of fulfillment that comes from helping others is something that I want our gym to facilitate with our members.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support Hailey and Amanda and do something great for our community.”
