On Wednesday, October 1, 2014, Cuesta College will announce a new feature to the Promise Scholarship that will potentially affect every current and future Promise Scholarship recipient. The announcement will be made by Cuesta College Superintendent/President Gil Stork at 4:30 p.m. during the college’s Board of Trustees meeting, held on the San Luis Obispo Campus in room 5401. Also in attendance will be current Promise students and members of the Cuesta College Foundation. Promise Scholarship students and representatives will be available for comment following the announcement.
The Cuesta College Promise Scholarship provides a fee-free fall semester to all newly graduated San Luis Obispo County high school students. A press release with details on the exciting new addition to the scholarship program will be sent out following the Board meeting.
