On December 1, 2015, the Cunningham Law Group (CLG) officially opened its doors for business. Founded by husband and wife team Jordan and Shauna Cunningham, the firm specializes in effective advocacy for individuals, families, businesses and public entities on the Central Coast.
Based in San Luis Obispo County, CLG will focus on civil litigation, criminal defense, family law, education law, and business and employer representation.
Before founding CLG, Jordan was a litigator at the firm Adamski, Moroski, Madden, Cumberland & Green LLP. He served as a deputy district attorney in San Luis Obispo County, where he prosecuted DUI, fraud, assault and battery, domestic violence, white collar and environmental crimes. His wide-ranging experience includes numerous successful jury trials, court trials, contested hearings, and appeals – in both state and federal court. His prior experience also includes working for the U.S. Department of Justice and clerking for two federal judges.
Shauna Cunningham’s career has spanned the fields of corporate transactions, commercial real estate, business and contract formation, business structuring, municipal law, and high-stakes litigation. She has particular expertise in the field of education law, where she has prevailed in numerous contested hearings resulting in published opinions. Prior to founding CLG, Shauna was a partner at Carmel & Naccasha LLP and practiced at some of the top law firms in the country. She currently serves as a professor at the San Luis Obispo College of Law.
