Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab is proud to welcome Cheryl Wakefield, the newest member of their growing team, as their Shareholder Liaison. As Doc’s implements their plans for expansion, Cheryl will be responsible for developing relationships and providing valuable information to their shareholders, while focusing on cultivating a strong community of partnerships.

Cheryl is a well-respected member of the community through her years of work in hospitality. She dedicates her time to Rotary De Tolosa as a 5-year Board Member, holding seats as Club Service Chair, Publicity Chair, and will obtain the role of Foundation Chair in the upcoming year. Cheryl shows her care for the business community as a seat on the membership council of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce for the past 3 years as well. Cheryl is a founding member of SLO U40, a group that inspires community to support issues affecting the under 40 residents of SLO County and has sat on the steering committee for two years.

As a registered Benefit Corporation and owned by the community, Greg Steinberger, Doc’s legendary founder, plans to bring their community-focused business model nation-wide and become, “…the most beloved ice cream across America.”
