On Saturday, November 16th, Doc’s Ice Cream Lab will be premiering limited batches of their latest experiment “Doc’s Fine Chocolates,” just in time for the holidays! All three of our Central Coast parlors will have limited stock of this gourmet line of fine confectionery treats to take to that gathering, holiday gift-giving or just to treat yourself.
Currently available in ½ pound and pound variety boxes and create-your-own boxes while supplies last. These original recipes arrived in 1915 and have remained American favorites for over a century. Doc’s was fortunate enough to have partnered with seasoned candy maker, Gerald Reed (former namesake of Olde Tyme Chocolates in Arroyo Grande) bringing his 50+ years of artisanal confectionary experience to continue the traditional tried and true recipes brought here from Great Britain.
Handcrafted locally in small batches at our own factory, our chocolates are poured and hand- dipped by our Head Chocolatier, Cale Munro. Doc’s Fine Chocolates is committed to using only the finest, traditional recipes and ingredients while integrating innovative flavors. Doc’s Fine
Chocolates nods to Doc Burnstein’s Ice Cream Lab’s most loved “flavorites”, such as “Doc’s Java,” “Raspberry Merlot” and “Motor Oil” to name a few. All of Doc’s Fine Chocolates are hand-dipped in dark, milk or a combination of the two chocolates.
