The San Luis Obispo Little Theatre is proud to present Matthew Barber’s delightful period comedy, Enchanted April, running April 12-May 5, 2013 at the Little Theatre Playhouse, 888 Morro Street in downtown San Luis Obispo. Set on a sun-soaked Italian hillside, Enchanted April tells the story of two frustrated housewives in post-World War I London who rent a villa in Italy for a much-needed holiday away from loss, the rainy, depressing city and their bleak marriages. The ladies recruit two very different English women to share the cost and the experience. There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again and rediscover themselves in ways they never could have imagined.

Directed by Teresa Thuman, the play will feature an ensemble cast of notable local actors, including Angela Hutt, Bob Peterson, Wendy-Marie Martin, Cory Schonauer, David Norum, Jean Miller, Alicia Klein, and Rosh Wright. Teresa Thuman is a freelance professional director based in Seattle.
