Chenda Lor has more than 25 years of business management and construction experience, and a double science degree from Bates College. This experience, combined with her passion for community service, has prepared her for her dream job as Executive Director of the SLO Botanical Garden. Lor has lived in San Luis Obispo for more than 20 years, is a mom to four amazing young adults, a Rotarian, surfer, and member of Leadership SLO Class 29. Lor is a well-traveled steward of the planet who intends to share her love of nature by growing the Community’s connection to SLO’s beloved Botanical Garden.
