Downtown SLO is proud to announce Concerts in the Plaza will be returning this summer 2021! The free summer concert series will run every Friday night, August 6 – September 24. This years’ concert series will feature musical genres across the spectrum — from reggae to pop, soul, California roots rock, and more. Join us each week in Mission Plaza for music, dancing, beverages, and more!

Local artist Colleen Gnos created an original work of art to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Concerts in the Plaza season, which features painted depictions of local musicians who have performed around the County. View the art and other assets in the online media kit.
To support the series, Downtown SLO is seeking sponsorship from businesses and individuals. COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgement
The Downtown SLO team is working in close coordination with local and state authorities to comply with all required COVID-19 health and safety guidelines in place at the time of the season to offer a safe concert experience.
As we approach the August concert dates, we will update this page with more information and policies and will alert guests of the requirements for attendance prior to the concert dates. We will be following the guidance of the State of California Department of Public Health’s Beyond the Blueprint Framework, and any additional safety precautions or measures will be communicated as the season approaches.
