The Housing Collaborative of the Central Coast’s mission is to bring the community together to exchange information and work toward solutions to create housing opportunities on the Central Coast. This year’s SLO County Housing Summit will engage its audience of housing advocates, community and economic development leaders with policy creators and implementers on local successes, real world challenges and innovative solutions that are working in similar regions.

Speakers will share insight and opine on:

• A snapshot of our region’s housing inventory, potential buyers and successes
• The rungs of the housing ladder and how we can support people at all levels of income levels
• Real estate, financing and housing loan options for developers and buyers
• Case studies from communities that have succeeded with innovative approaches
• The biggest hinderances to home creation and the unforeseen challenges of well intentioned programs
• How we can work together and take action to achieve regional housing goals

Local leaders will share progress already made in our county through panel discussions and guest speakers that will offer you a chance to learn more about the importance of centering diversity in housing options and successful housing progress in neighboring regions.
