Cal Poly Arts presents The Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show
Featuring Preservation Hall Legacy Horns and Special Guest Ruthie Foster
Described as “James Brown does gospel,” the Blind Boys of Alabama have been recognized worldwide as true living legends of gospel music for 75 years. In their holiday show, the Blind Boys present seasonal favorites from their Grammy-winning Go Tell It On The Mountain and Talkin’ Christmas albums. The iconic Preservation Hall Legacy Horns will sit in for several numbers, and multi-Grammy nominee Ruthie Foster returns to the PAC to open the show.
