The North County Chorus is celebrating their new name and new tour! Now the Cuesta Concord Chorus- will perform music for their 2019 tour to London, Bath and Normandy. This tour is to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Storming of Normandy, culminating in a performance at the Normandy Cemetery on the 4th of July. This concert will feature two newly commissioned pieces for this tour: “Turning” Dr. Meredith Brammeier and Sylvia Alcon, and “Normandy” Dr. Ron Kean. Soloist George Gorrindo and Harpist Andrew Carmona will join “Choral Songs from Gloriana” by Benjamin Britten. Following the concert will be a 5 de Mayo Fiesta by the Atascadero Zoo. Veterans are invited FREE to the concert and to the picnic.
