Are you concerned about how wildfire, smoke, extreme heat or flooding will impact our community? We want your perspective!
Join us for the second set of Working Group meetings for the Resilient SLO project. The City will be hosting a set of meetings based on three focus areas that will help increase climate resilience for the SLO Community (see below for focus areas). The meetings will include a short presentation on the anticipated climate impacts specific to San Luis Obispo and an activity to brainstorm and provide feedback on community-driven strategies to help our City prepare and respond to increased risk of extreme heat, wildfire, flooding, and drought.
Join the meeting for the topic you are most interested in or join for all three meetings! Please invite other SLO community members, community organization representatives, and business owners to attend the meetings and share their ideas on how create a more Resilient SLO.
The Community Resilience Working Group will focus on topics such as social equity, the economy, public health and emergency operations. This working group will be held virtually, via Zoom, on Monday, July 12th from 6:00-7:00 PM.
Register in advance for this meeting below. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
