The Cypress Ridge Golf Club will transform into a vibrant hub of community support and inspiration as Sun West Sports proudly presents the Operation Surf Golf Classic & Gala. This annual event honors the life and legacy of Charles D. Perriguey Jr.—a decorated Marine, LAPD helicopter pilot, and passionate advocate for veterans who helped launch our first-ever golf fundraiser.

Each year, we gather in Chuck’s memory to celebrate his commitment to service and raise vital funds for Operation Surf’s programs supporting veterans, active-duty Special Operations Forces, and their families through the healing power of the ocean.

The day features a fun, friendly golf tournament with on-course contests, great food, and hospitality, culminating in an evening Awards Gala with a catered dinner, live and silent auctions led by professional auctioneer Cody Dawson, prize drawings, music, and opportunities to support our $150,000 fundraising goal. The Awards Gala is open to everyone—golfers and non-golfers alike—offering a lively evening of celebration and community connection.
