French Hospital Medical Center will host an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Class on October 14, 2013. The class is open to the public and will be held from 5- 9:30 p.m. in the French Hospital Auditorium.
The Heartsaver class trains community members to use the AHA’s Chain of Survival, which includes adult, child and infant CPR, and to use an automated external defibrillator. Participants will also learn what to do for choking in adults, children and infants. A community American Heart Association CPR Card will be issued to each participant upon completion of the course.
