The Hearst Cancer Resource Center at French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC) is pleased to offer a free community educational talk to provide information about the benefits of a cancer-preventative diet.

This informative session will provide valuable information to help you learn how to create a healthy diet that has the potential of reducing the incidence of cancer, the risk of cancer progression and/or recurrence.

Presenting at the event will be Angela Fissell, MS, RDN, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, and Nancy Walker, Therapeutic Chef and Founder of The Wellness Kitchen and Resource Center in Templeton. As Angela and Nancy lead the discussion, they will demonstrate the components of a cancer-preventative diet, outline the steps to create healthy habits and teach participants how to make healthy food taste delicious.

The session will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at FHMC’s Copeland Health Education Pavilion third floor auditorium, 1911 Johnson Avenue, San Luis Obispo.
