In recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC), a Dignity Health Member, in collaboration with SLO Noor Clinic, the Center, Planned Parenthood, and the Paso Robles Public Health Clinic, will hold two free mammogram clinics in October. These free clinics will be offered to women unable to qualify for state or federal programs to obtain this service.

Women interested in receiving a free mammogram must first make an appointment for a free clinical breast exam with one of our partners. Interested community members may schedule an appointment for a free clinical breast exam by calling:

-The Center, 705 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, 805.544.2478

-Planned Parenthood, 743 Pismo Street, San Luis Obispo, 888.898.3806

-SLO Noor Clinic, 1428 Phillips Lane, Suite B-4, San Luis Obispo, 805.439.1797

-Paso Robles Public Health Clinic, 723 Walnut Drive, Paso Robles, 805.237.3050

At the free clinical breast exam, qualified candidates will receive a referral for a free screening mammogram at the Women’s Health and Imaging Center at FHMC.

FHMC is proud to offer this opportunity in order to increase awareness and educate women about the importance of regular screenings, clinical breast exams and early detection.  This free mammogram clinic is made possible by the generous Avon grant to the Hearst Cancer Resource Center and the collaboration of our partners.
