Hotel San Luis Obispo, a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of San Luis Obispo’s vibrant downtown, and Region SLO, the Central Coast’s brand new collective wine tasting room located on the grounds of the hotel, are debuting its first Rosé festival and fundraiser, Rosé the SLO Way, to kick off the acclaimed wine region’s Rosé season and raise funds for local charity. The event will take place in Hotel San Luis Obispo’s Garden Courtyard and surrounding grounds on Sunday, April 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

At the event, guests will gather to mingle and taste Rosé from 15 premiere boutique Central Coast wineries, meet the team behind the wines, and enjoy savory and sweet food pairings curated by Hotel San Luis Obispo’s renowned Executive Chef Ryan Fancher and his team at the property’s onsite restaurants, Ox + Anchor and Piadina. The party will include live entertainment and a raffle with prizes including magnums and the ultimate staycation giveaway. All guests are encouraged to wear festive pink or spring attire to help celebrate the release of this year’s vintage Central Coast Rosé. Following the event, the hotel is offering party guests an exclusive overnight rate of $225 for a luxurious Paseo King room.

“We’re so excited for this event,” said Circe Sher, co-founder of Piazza Hospitality, which developed and manages Hotel San Luis Obispo, Hotel Healdsburg, h2 hotel and Harmon Guest. “Hotel SLO is dedicated to showcasing the best of the region’s food and wine through special events and dining experiences and this is our latest venture.
