hrccJoin the Human Resources Association of the Central Coast (HRCC) as Jean Steel will guide us on how to manage change. HRCC’s November Monthly Meeting will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2018 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Madonna Inn.

Change is stressful, no question. But it is as unavoidable as death and taxes, so might as well embrace it. In this refreshing workshop, Jean Steel will discuss the common responses to change, what change can mean and the various affects it can have in our homes, at work, and in our relationships. Steel is well prepared for this topic, having led a life with more change in it than most. She asks her audience to take care of themselves, to reframe their thinking, to make strong commitments and to see the opportunities in all the changes of their lives. Find out how the one-minute vacation and the “tombstone technique” can, well, change the way of think.

Born the eldest of five children, Steel spent her formative years in Africa and Asia. That decae on unfamiliar, foreign soil helped her to cultivate the confidence, strength, and resilience many of us work a lifetime to achieve. A born communicator, Jean’s many interests developed into her career path. She earned her Master’s Degree in Wellness Mind/Body Health and has been speaking and teaching across the nation for more than 20 years. The founder of Happy People Win, a wellness training and speaking firm, Jean has also authored two books—“I’d Like to Run Wild! A Wellness Action Guide” and “Need Change? Customer Service Tips to Grow from Good to Great.”

Please note the Madonna Inn does not allow outside food. Food that will be served at the meeting includes Italian lasagna with green salad, vegetarian lasagna with green salad and carrot cake for dessert.

Registration will close promptly at 11:45 a.m. on November 9, 2018.  Be sure to complete registration before the cut-off so valuable information will not be missed out. RSVP at hrcentralcoast.org. Advanced payment of meeting registration fees is very much appreciated.
