HRCC’s January professional development meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14th from 11:30a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Madonna Inn.
About Ms. Barbra Arnold:
Barbra Arnold has over ten years of experience representing management in all facets of labor and employment law, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, unfair competition, trades secrets, collective bargaining with unions and wage and hour law including class actions relating to failure to pay overtime, and meal and rest period claims. Barbra advises employers nationwide in these areas as well as on disability and religious accommodation, protected leaves of absence, personnel policies, employee handbooks, arbitration agreements, employment contracts, employee discipline and discharge, union avoidance and labor relations.
About Ms. Patricia DeSantis:
Patricia DeSantis focuses her practice on management side labor and employment matters, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and relations between management and unions. Patricia is skilled in all areas of the litigation process including investigation, strategy, propounding and responding to discovery, taking and defending depositions, preparing and opposing motions, mediating cases to resolution, and appearing in state and federal court.
Each month, HRCC holds professional development meetings to discuss labor relations, legislation, cutting edge strategic planning options, and employer resources critical to the success of doing business on the Central Coast.
