Starting Wednesday June 20th, first time users will have the opportunity to order a $2 Poke Bowl from Poke Bar (only redeemable in-app) as a part of JoyRun’s launch in San Luis Obispo. JoyRun is a peer-to-peer delivery platform backed by some of the original investors in Lyft, Uber, and Airbnb that is changing the way people do food runs and favors for one another.
After over two years at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, JoyRun is officially launching off-campus and into offices and neighborhoods in San Luis Obispo. JoyRun allows the opportunity for people to get food delivered or go out and earn money doing a food run from local restaurants. Anyone in San Luis Obispo can request to get these deals delivered for their office. The first 10 to sign up will get free delivery for their office.
JoyRun is bringing its local restaurant partners to the forefront of its launch. Working with partners like Wingstop, Aisuru, Taqueria Santa Cruz, and more, they will be delivering lunch specials for all offices throughout the work-week.
