CompTIA, the international non-profit association for the information technology industry is set to announce 2013 board members, which will include Amy Kardel. Kardel, who also serves on the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Board, is the chief administrative officer of Clever Ducks, the founder of two technology start-ups and has over 20 years of industry experience.

Based in Chicago, CompTIA is the voice of the world’s information technology industry. One of its main activities is developing technology standards and competence in IT by providing educational opportunities and certification programs. Kardel’s role on the board will include certification issues, public advocacy, as well as the investment and audit committees.
