lightgablerEmployment law firm LightGabler is presenting “Harassment, Discrimination, Retaliation and Bullying Prevention Training for Supervisors” on Thursday, November 15, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Madonna Inn, San Luis Obispo.

California law requires companies with 50 or more employees to provide their supervisors with at least two hours of sexual harassment and bullying prevention training every two years (agricultural employers must provide training every year). New supervisors must be trained within six months of starting a supervisory position.

LightGabler employment attorney Ryan M. Haws will present an informative training program designed to help companies comply in a cost-effective manner. Prevention topics will be discussed as well as how to investigate and resolve employee complaints.

The training program also benefits supervisors at smaller companies and will allow employers to better protect the workplace from costly employment claims.

The seminar will be held at the Madonna Inn, 100 Madonna Road, San Luis Obispo. The fee is $50 per person.
