There’s no denying San Luis Obispo is growing. The transition away from primarily mom pop businesses to larger franchises started more than a decade ago, and today decisions like where to get a cup of coffee, and where to take our business, shape the landscape of the community.

“There’s something to be said about small town charm, local service, and supporting local businesses,” said Robert Mariani.

Mariani, Robert 300 72Mariani recently opened the doors at Mariani Realty, a local boutique real estate firm that believes working with fewer clients offers the opportunity for a better, more personalized experience to ensure customer goals are exceeded within their time frame.

Mariani prides himself on being small, agile and providing concierge-level service with a thorough plan for getting a home market-ready.

“I am extremely pleased to announce the opening of Mariani Realty,” Mariani said. “I only work with a few clients at a time so each client gets the personal attention they deserve. My experience and passion ensure my clients goals are achieved in their time frame.”

Mariani is best known for managing the entire home buying or selling process from bringing in painters, contractors and inspectors, and generally, becoming his client’s problem solver.

Mariani’s philosophy is, take care of the customer and the rest will fall into place.

Focused on keeping it local and helping out the community, Mariani knows that using a local realtor is a huge economic benefit for the community, in that 100 percent of the seller’s cost and commission stays in San Luis Obispo County, as opposed to going towards out of state franchise fees and marketing.

When you choose to keep it local, your dollars stay local.

According to a 2016 National Association Of Realtors report, 85 percent of buyers found the home they purchased as a result of the internet and a real estate agent, while only 8 percent of buyers found the home they purchased from a yard sign or open house sign. When franchises advertise on TV or the Radio they are advertising there name not your home. Their marketing effort is to improve their bottom line not yours.

“I am passionate about community, and that starts with a great home, welcoming neighborhoods, and fulfilling the American dream, and that is what drives me every day,” Mariani said. “I look forward to building a better San Luis Obispo County.”
