Margaret Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Martin Resorts has announced two additions to the company’s management roster.
Lori Keller has joined Martin Resorts as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company’s five boutique hotels; the Pismo Lighthouse Suites, and Shore Cliff Lodge and Shelter Cove Lodge – both Best Western Plus hotels – in Pismo Beach, the Avila Lighthouse Suites in Avila Beach, and the historic Paso Robles Inn in Paso Robles.
Keller’s marketing and branding knowledge spans more than 20 years. Her experience includes Larkspur Hospitality, one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the San Francisco Bay Area, as Corporate Director of Marketing, as well as the Pacifica Hotel Company, in Santa Barbara, the largest operator of independent boutique California coastal hotels, where she was Vice President, Marketing and Sales.
She began her career in the advertising agency business, in San Francisco where she managed a variety of accounts including Marriott and the opening of the San Francisco Marriot Marquis. She also spent six years with Harrah’s Casino Hotels in Lake Tahoe/Reno, Nevada in a variety of marketing roles. She will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, sales, and revenue management for Martin Resorts.
Barbara Parra joins Martin Resorts as General Manager of the Shore Cliff Lodge, a 100-room oceanfront hotel overlooking the cliffs of Pismo Beach, which has recently undergone a major renovation. Parra has a wealth of experience in both chain hotels and individual properties, including Courtyard by Marriott, where she was a Guest Care and Room Care Manager in the Fountain Valley hotel, Assistant General Manager at Hilton Garden Inn in Rancho Cucamonga, and, most recently as the Assistant General Manager of the Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort in San Luis Obispo. Parra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and a Minor in Management and Human Resources from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
