Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County recently honored local Christie’s International Real Estate Sereno Realtor, Lindsey Harn at the nonprofit’s annual Big Event fundraiser. The 2023 Legacy Award was presented by Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County’s Board Chair, Karen Colombo and CEO, Jenny Luciano to honor Harn’s 15 years of involvement, including raising well over $100,000 for the organization.
Harn began her involvement as a Cal Poly intern and continued through the AmeriCorps program, creating fundraisers on behalf of the youth mentoring organization. After becoming a Realtor, Harn joined the Big Brothers Big Sisters Realtor’s Circle donating after each real estate transaction as well as sponsoring their annual Big Event fundraiser and encouraging local business owners to participate in the organization’s critical work. “Lindsey Harn’s contributions through our Realtor’s Circle giving program helps us provide children facing adversity with positive mentoring experiences so they can reach their full potential. We thank Lindsey for well over a decade of support and dedication to our organization,” says CEO, Jenny Luciano.
While Harn is currently the #1 Agent in Sales Volume for San Luis Obispo County for the fourth consecutive year, her compassionate support for the wellbeing of children and youth in San Luis Obispo County is a driving motivation. “Children are in great need of supportive relationships with caring adults. It is this reason I am proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County. Helping youth realize their potential not only changes lives but enriches our community as a whole.”
