The community of San Luis Obispo is invited to come celebrate Brooks Burgers’ one-year anniversary of its latest location. Not just another burger joint, the Brooks family created Brooks Burgers in Pismo Beach seven years ago with 40 years of restaurant and cattle business experience. With four generations of cattlemen and restaurateur, the Brooks’ concept features premium burgers for a great price. The San Luis Obispo location opened in August 2022 with owner/operator, Marshall William, at the helm, and is conveniently located in San Luis Obispo’s newest hot spot, the SLO Public Market.
The Grand Opening celebration will kick off on Friday, August 25 at 4PM with a ribbon cutting event in partnership with the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce followed by live music and wine tasting until 7PM. On Saturday, August 26 from 1PM – 5PM, Cocktail Shorty will play their high-energy classic rock and blues tunes, a variety of local merchants will feature their wares, and Mission Prep High School and SLO High School football teams will face-off for a burger eating contest. A portion of all proceeds from the event’s sales will be donated to support each school’s football team.
