A team of four Cal Poly journalism students is partnering with Mustang Media Group to better understand how local businesses in San Luis Obispo perceive the student-run media organization and how it can more effectively serve the community.

The team, called CommUNITY Communications, is conducting a short survey for local business owners to share their awareness, experiences and perceptions of MMG. The goal is to gather insights that will help MMG strengthen relationships with San Luis Obispo’s business community and highlight itself as a valuable, affordable partner for local advertising and outreach.

The survey is open to all local business owners, whether or not they have previously partnered with MMG. It focuses on understanding how businesses currently engage with local media, what communication channels they use most, and what types of marketing or community storytelling they find most valuable.

CommUNITY Communications is inviting members of the San Luis Obispo business community to participate by completing the 5-8 minute survey, which will remain open through November 28. Participation is greatly appreciated.
