Barbara focuses on corporate and business transactions and helps companies with their day-to-day legal matters, including resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling data privacy disputes and inquiries.

Most recently, Barbara worked in-house as Product Counsel to Citibank’s Latin American Treasury & Trade Solutions business. Previously, Barbara was a corporate associate at both of the international law firms Goodwin Procter LLP and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP, where her practice focused on sophisticated corporate, finance and real estate transactions. Barbara is deeply committed to the making a difference in the lives of others and has volunteered her time on a variety of pro bono projects throughout her career. She worked on an asylum representation through the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, and an adoption through the County of Los Angeles’ Public Counsel Adoption Project. She also worked with the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Homeless Advocacy Project, where she provided legal advice to individuals who were homeless.
