Get ready to relish a day full of pickle-perfect fun! The highly anticipated SLO Pickle Festival is coming to Laguna Lake Park on October 5, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. This event promises to be a dill-ightful experience, celebrating all things pickles while supporting a great cause—Meals That Connect – Senior Nutrition Program of San Luis Obispo County.

Pickle enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy a wide variety of pickle vendors, pickle-inspired bites, beer, wine and live music by the Vintage Renegades. One of the festival’s highlights will be the SLO Best Pickle Inspired Bites Contest, where local chefs will showcase their most creative and flavorful pickle dishes. Festivalgoers can also enjoy a pickle-eating contest and a pickling demonstration hosted by Baby Bear Biscuits.

“I am dill-lighted to be a part of this year’s pickle fest! Pun intended. It’s my favorite garnish and I can’t wait to see an event dedicated to them, while bringing the community together and also benefitting a great organization like Meals that Connect” said Mandy Bobb, KJUG Radio Host and SLO Pickle Festival Celebrity Judge.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Meals That Connect, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of seniors in San Luis Obispo County by providing nutritious meals and reducing social isolation. Tickets and event information can be found at www.slopicklefestival.org.

They wish to thank their top sponsors, Mechanics Bank and All About Events, for their generous support in making this event possible.
